Experience and capture the beauty of nature through the lens of a camera.

Accompany noted nature photographer Brendan Kearns as he shares his locations and "how to" tips on an outing in the Wabashiki Fish & Wildlife Area and along the trail.

A walk in the woods Wabashiki style

Prize #2

Keith Ruble, Naturalist and Forester, leads a 3-hour hike along the trail and the forests of the Wabashiki Fish & Wildlife Area. He will point out tree species, native plants as well as invasive species.

Kayak the Wabashiki Wetlands

Grab your paddle, let's go! Join Wabashiki Turtle Research & Rescue founder Amber Slaughterbeck on a turtle's eye view guided kayak outing. Please bring your own life jacket. Kayaks, paddles, kayak safety, sunscreen, water, snacks, and insect repellent provided.

The Friends of the Vigo County Public Library, a group with which Emily was actively involved, have donated a Friends of the Library gift basket including a lunch bag, two water bottles and a $25 gift certificate valid at the Friends of the Library book sale that is held the first weekend of every month.
